Mind Sirens, Work Clothes, Shallow Be Thy Name
Kings, Raleigh
According to Mike, original Mind Sirens drummer Bill McCormick is back
in the fold for this one, which since Mike is still in the band puts
us squarely in the middle of that exceptionally fertile '91-'93
period, apparently.
Shallow Be Thy Name make weird obsessive brilliant four-track stylee
5-song EPs, one every few months, and then eventually they get around
to arranging the stuff for actual live performance and realize they'll
need like 8 people onstage to pull it off. So they find 8 people.
Fellow geniuses of the bedroom 4-track, Work Clothes are whisper-quiet
and worth yr full attention.
