"For the kids!" a rallying cry that has driven hundreds of dedicated students to raiseover $300,000 for the North Carolina children's hospital over the past three years, not to mention the thousands of dancers who have stayed on their feet for 24 hours straight as part of the actual marathon. This site will tell you all about it as well as how you can get involved. This is my 2nd year dancing in the marathon and first promoting it as part of its publicity committee. It's an experience unlike any I've ever had.
This is the site for Hope Larson, an incredible friend of mine (see pictures) who also happens to be a breathtaking artist. This site doesn't showcase the full range of her artistic talents (she's far too modest), but its fabulous nonetheless. I can't wait till she commissions a piece for my apartment.
The website of Betsy Waddell, another great friend who's an equally great artist. But her work is disntinct from Hope's. Check out the site and you'll see what I mean. Betsy is destined to be a force in the world of animation.
I have an unyielding appetite for new music, and this site is the most comprehensive guide out there. Bios, reviews, categorizations, pictures, links galore; it's your one-stop shop for all things music
Yes I'm a dork, but deep down we're all dorks - we just pick different things to be dorky about. For me, one of those things is The Lord of the Rings. The book made me want to be a writer in 6th grade, and now the series of movies continues to make me giddy. This is the link to the official movie site, which also has links to other LOTR sites. Be like my roomates and I and download the new trailers the day they come out. It's fun, I promise.
