rpm socks

color: turquoise and grey-brown variegated, inspired by pinky's beautimous pomatomi (i tried to knit pomatomus with this yarn to be a full copycat, i really did. however, i knit too loosely for any adult-sized lacy sock pattern to fit my foot, and refuse to knit socks on 000s. so simple knit-purl textured socks it is.)

needles: US 0 addi circulars

details: knitting toe-up over 54 sts. short row both heel and toe down to 9? start heel on k5, p3 round? start rib after completing p3, k6 round. (clearly i need to start taking real notes, sans question marks if i want an identical second sock). "extending" both the toe and the heel portion to equal around 2" before starting pattern courtesy of grumperina.
