details: this project marks my first colorwork and first steeking.

status: she's done. she's huge. any reason why i shouldn't felt her to make her fit? (or turn her into a purse) grr. i think i have enough yarn to make a second vest if this plan doesn't work, though the wound will need some time to heal.

lessons learned: to get an accurate gauge swatch in fair-isle, i apparently need to knit a swatch the size of a finished garment. if i do end up making this again, i will measure this vest diligently and figure out all the necessary changes to produce a proper fit (shorten length, start v-neck later, narrow shoulders, possibly narrow the entire back, etc.)
