pattern: sorrel from rowan 40

yarn: rowan tapestry (70% wool, 30% soy)

color: pot pourri (mostly pink, with peach & brown stripes)

needles: addi US 6 for the lace edging, US 5 for everything else

mods: used the quill lace pattern as an edging on all pieces (well, not the cowl) and eliminated all the purl ridges from the pattern. didn't knit the neck insert.

dates: started this in san francisco on vacation, around 8-10-07. 8-24: done with both sleeves, on the armhole shaping for the back piece. finished seaming around 9-15, working on neck insert. ugh, finished the neck insert and it didn't fit the neckhole at all, so i decided to try wearing the sweater sans neck insert. and i like it! gives me more options for what shirt to wear underneath, as i don't have to work around the neckline of the insert.
