The author of this site works with real castles for a
living! She has gone to school to study Historic Preservation, so
she can help keep the castles she works with in good shape. There
aren't many
pictures here, but there is a lot of good information about castles in
England, and about the Middle Ages in general.

This site has lots of cool pictures of real castles, stories about
people who lived in castles, virtual tours of castles, a section just
for kids, and a whole lot more! You can even ask your own questions,
and the owner of the site will help you with the answers.
Ghosts in the Castle
In this site by National Geographic, you get to name your own
castle, then follow Marcus the Mouse, who helps you explore all
the rooms of your castle. There are lots of pictures that you can
click on to learn more about the people and objects inside. There is
even a game!
Castles

Castles of Kids is a fun site. You can look at lots of pictures of
castles, learn about what the different parts of a castle, see what
was inside them, and find out about the people who lived there. There
are fun activities you can do- you can even make your own
castle! There is also a list of books that you can use to find out
more information.

student learning about history. Here you can learn all about how a
King decided to build a castle, the different parts of a castle, and

inside. There is also a lot of information on what people did all
