Sarah Bogle was born in 1870. She became president of the Association for Library and Information Science Education in 1917, where she presided for a year. In addition to becoming the Director of Pittsburgh's Training School for Children's Librarians, from 1923 to 1929 she directed the Paris Library School. She was the assistant secretary of the American Library Association at the time of her death in 1932. |
