What Other People Say About This Site

From Erica Jarvis - A SILS Student

Your annotations are perfect. I have one very
ridculous comment, please change the color of the vlink to something
darker. The heading disappears when you try out the sites... Question,
are you just going to have pictures on the front page or will
you also have text? I love the border and different color fonts, and the
mouse overs. Do you have more graphics? ... Why not frame your subject
headings as questions just like in those books we talked about in class.

From Kelly Gragg - An Archaeology Student, Universtiy of Georgia Athens

Following are my comments concerning your Medieval webpage for
kids. The colors and layout of the opening page are good. The
pictures might be a little bigger to reduce the white space on the page. Also a text
description underneath each picture might help in orienting
the user. It is good to see so many non-European Medieval sites to
demonstrate the fact that things were happening all around the world during
the Middle Ages and not just in Europe as is so often the stereotype.
All of the Aztec, Mongol and Vikings sites, are interesting
and informative. I hope this is helpful.

Jamie - a ten year old who lives next door

Cool! I like the pictures especially much, but they don't do anything. It
would be neat if the knights charged at you or the castle door opened or
the dragon fired the fary or the lady stirred her soup. The sites
with games are the best!
