Marc B. Adin

Well, I must own up to my creations and take the spittle with a wittle good natured humility. I was born in the '40's, educated by the PublicUniv.edu to somewhere on the graduate continuum track. I was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in 1967 for various anti-war activities, but ended up in Vietnam nonetheless. I took it personally when the NVA tried to kill me and my friends which was and is the exciting life of an infantryman. Many wounds later I returned to the U.S., reviled by many members of the antiwar movement, many of whom were my friends before the war. I joined the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), but was a lone wolf. The prowar nutballs seemed to hate me because I let them know they didn't know shit. I meandered on through the U.S. Austin to Boston to Santa Fe to Taos to Lawrence, Kansas (don't go there) and finally back home to upstate New York, along the banks of the mighty Hudson River. I have taught, been a labor negotiator, an author of repute, held more laboring jobs then I can remember, been called an idiot savant as well as just a plain idiot, and know a lot about a broad spectrum of the world and its complex manifestations. My current deal, now that I have qwit working is trekking in the mountains and rugged lands all across America. My kids are no longer kids. I have been thought a decent father and a flaky husband, but you try being married to the same woman/man for 32 years and I bet you'll be moldy around the edges. That is the end for now. Keep on moving, stay low. And good luck. Marco "The Mahd" Adin.
