Watching a copy of a Tai Chi video with my father
The oriental man in casual clothes instructs:
Arms up, fingers slightly bent, then exhale.
Our lips part the same way, emitting very different breaths.
Then inhale and bring your hands down past your face.
Arms up, fingers slightly bent, then exhale.
Following, I make a circle above my head.
Then inhale and bring your hands down past your face.
It doesn't look as dimensional as the one on the screen.
Following, I make a circle above my head.
You should be feeling a slight pull now.
It doesn't look as dimensional as the one on the screen.
Remember to breathe, that's the most important part.
You should be feeling a slight pull now.
My father hurled me at the sun once.
Remember to breathe, that's the most important part.
From the lighter end of the seesaw, I flew.
My father hurled me at the sun once.
Draw your hands up, until your arms are straight.
From the lighter end of the seesaw, I flew.
Use your elbow to guide your fingers.
Draw your hands up, until your arms are straight.
The best part was the landing.
Use your elbow to guide your fingers.
He said he'd never felt so bad in all his life.
The best part was the landing.
This is all one fluid movement.
He said he'd never felt so bad in all his life.
Now, open your hands to the side and wait.
This is all one fluid movement.
Our lips part the same way, emitting very different breaths.
Now, open your hands to the side and wait.
The oriental man in casual clothes instructs.
