Cindy Wright
Crossing Contaminants

I cannot see Jupiter
with naked eye
but I hear it has
a moon that erupts
bright plumes of fire.

Our rage is far reaching
or
is it ours?

Own a piece of grass.
Own the universe.

Souls are traded
everywhere
everyday
for less than one peso.

The moon is burning.
There is a late rain
to hope for.
