Rena Erickson
I Speak to You Softly

Do, you hear my cry
of pain?
Whispers in my ear
making me insane...

My heart lingering
for your tender
touch...

Telling, me how I love
so much!

Deep beneath the rain...
Over a bow of sun...

Gentle are your kisses
My heart you have won!

Stretching across a desert...
Warmth within the air.

Deep is our emotion's
we are truly aware

Love we hide on the
inside
Speak we do not dare

Tranquil is our lusting...
Felt, without a care...

I spoke to you softly...

But, you seemed to ignore,
or not to care!

Please, beware...
of these words

I speak to you
For, what is inside
of me

Is, the inside of
you
