Song and Prayer
I thought my life was over
And joy gone for ever,
As despair was taking over
I once listened to John Denver
And my heart shone soon after,
As the songs brought me laughter
I went then to the Lord in prayer
To make this joy last longer
And help me from depression recover
In song and prayer
Like never-
I found life’s flavor and power
