Last Week's Question - - Have you ever been sprawled out upon a grassy field, looking up at the vast sea of sky with all the clouds sailing by? Did you ever see anything profound or prophetic? Yes? What was it?

Your Answers -
Denise H. - I mostly walk with my head down since I moved away from home, but once I did see a big round cloud that looked like Bill Cosby. It made me laugh and I went home and watched all the episodes of "The Cosby Show" I have on tape.
(and who doesn't enjoy an 80's family sitcom…editor)
Sarah KW. - Once I saw a bunny and it changed my life.
(oh if only we could all be so innocent….editor)
José B. - I always look at the clouds (cause that's where my mind lives!)…ha ha ha!!!!!!

Jeremy S. - Well, I wasn't sprawled out on a grassy field, but I was outside feeding my dog
at about ten at night when I looked up and what to my astonishment did I see? A
UFO!!! It freaked me out so bad that I didn't even tell anyone. I walked back
inside and locked the door. I would have blamed it on being drunk but I didn't
drink then, as I was only eleven years old. The next morning on the news they
said a Russian satellite had fallen out of orbit and burned up on re-entry. So,
it wasn't really a space alien coming down to eat our brains but just another
example of the Russian Space Program gone awry. Either way, it was cool.
(not exactly cloud related, but Russian space disasters brightens any day-or night….editor)
Justin S. - One unusually cool day in March, I was gazing up at the clouds and saw the number 15 as clear as day. I shouted, "Everyone look! The Ides of March!" But no one really cared because it was the 22nd.
(a bit anticlimactic-if only the meteorological timing had been better….yourself)

This Week's Question - As many of you know, North Carolina and many other parts of the country are suffering from the worst drought in 200 years. If replenishing rains don't come soon, society is going to have to make some drastic changes so we can all survive (i.e. at UNC they are threaten to turn off the water and give us portable pee pee houses). Hypothetically, let's say the rains don't come and we all have to adapt. What kind of changes do you envision for a water-desperate society?
