Like a Deer Caught in Headlights
Beep, beep, beep, goes the elevator as I slowly descend to the ground floor
My smelly trash in hand, my heart a dull pit within my sorrowful chest
My roommate locked away in the room, consumed by an evil paper
Oh exam time, why do you torment my so?!
With a jiggle, jiggle, shake, the elevator stops and opens to the lowest of floors in good ole Ehringhaus
I step out, ready to face the cold and the arduous walk to the dumpster
This is what me life has come to, more sorrowful than a hamster without a wheel
But what is this!
A radiant, angelic light streams forth and covers my entire being
Can it be?!
YES! It can!
Before me stands Jenny!
Oh Jenny!
The fancy ketchup on my golden fries
The thick, rich dressing on my crisp salad
The grease-filled gravy on my lumpy mash potatoes
My sugar, spice, and everything nice
My heart freezes in its beating, unable to handle the passion I feel
I can no longer inhale, for the air surrounding me has been touched by Jenny and is too pure for my lungs
My body cannot move, all muscles are locked into place
A numbing force overwhelms me and my sight begins to fade
I no longer feel my limbs and I begin to lose my balance
Oh dear! I am falling to the floor!
No! I am going unconscious!
Beep, beep, beep goes the hospital heart monitor
Jenny was too much for my system to handle
She put me into a six-week coma
But it was all worth it…oh Jenny…………
