Here are the first of the pictures from our trip to France. I'll have more up as soon as I can
I guess these are pretty random, but they're pretty good I think.

This is the Arc de Triumph (sorry, I'm just too lazy to worry about accents). The Arc is a monument to Napoleon I and was built in 1804.
The biggest trick is figuring out how to get to it, as it is surrounded by a four-lane traffic circle.

Travel tip #1- Do not try to run across the traffic circle, the French are merciless drivers. Judging from my experience, they quite possibly get points taken off of their licenses for running down tourist.
That being said, there is a tunnel that goes under the road, you should take that to get there

OK, I really am going to figure out who painted this. I recognized it from somewhere, so I took a picture of it.
I took a picture of the Mona Lisa, it turned out not so great, mainly due to the fact that about a hundred other people were trying to take a picture of the Mona Lisa at the same time.
I took some other pictures of works at the Louvre that I'll probably put up when I can scan them.

This is the Cathedral of Notre Dame. The architecture is really amazing, especially the opposite side which for some reason I didn't take a picture of. I'll try to put up some pictures of the rose windows and gargoyles and such.

This is a building on the Champs Elysse. I can't remember what the building was for, but the Statue in front is of Charles DeGaulle, who was a hero of World War II and a president of France for many years after the war.
I'll be back soon (hopefully) with a more extensive collection.
