Once again, the main significance of this game lies mainly in the fact that it involved my alma mater. The OSU team came to Salt Lake pissed off because of the beating they had taken at the hands of the Utes the previous season. Specifically, they intended to hurt Utah's safety (Shaw) because he had earned such accolades in the game the year before. The beavers posturing only served to spur the Utes on and they destroyed the hapless team from Oregon. At least I didn't wear my OSU t-shirt.
