Stuff I'm doing

  • I'm doing a project on Intrusion Detection with undergrads Elise London and Lisa Fowler under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Jeffay and Dr. Diane Pozefsky. One of our project goals is to evaluate different approaches to intrusion detection and implement our chosen intrusion detection algorithms on a CloudShield CS-2000 server, a packet inspection engine. Currently, our immediate goal is to implement on CloudShield the capability of producing and storing a-b-t representations of the packet IP flows it examines.

Past

  • This past summer I did an Enabling Technologies project with Dr. Gary Bishop and grad student Kelly Ward. It is an application to help people with low literacy or disabilities track their health progress. For the project I worked with the NC Office on Disability and Health and a group of people from the Raleigh Vocational Center who were on a health program. I met with this group on a weekly basis and worked with them to try to tailor the program to their needs and abilities. They used and tested my program as I was developing it, giving me invaluable feedback.

Course work of mine that's on the web:

  1. Physically-Based Modeling Homework:
  2. Graphics images from a ray tracer
  3. Comp 236 Graphics Projects:

Hmmm... and these are really old
