I worked at the Daily Tarheel for three semesters (1999 - 2000) at the City Desk. This was my first experience in news writing. I covered stories about local politics, environmental concerns and economic issues. I earned the nickname "Danger Girl" because I had the tendency to attract stories involving people on death row, gun control, probation officers or the ALE (Alcohol Law Enforcement). - Here are links to a few of my stories. |
