Felipe De Brigard

I am a graduate student at the department of philosophy and at the Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory Lab at UNC, Chapel Hill. I work in philosophy of mind with an emphasis in cognitive psychology and neuroscience. My research focuses on the nature of memory and its relations to other cognitive faculties, in particular perception, imagination, attention and consciousness. I am also interested in philosophy of neuroscience. More precisely, I am interested in the notion of evidence in neuroscience: how it is gathered, whether it actually tells us as much as some suggest it does, and whether it constitutes a threat to our current legal practices. I also like to think about happiness and well-being.
