Caesaria (June 2006)

From what was the harbor looking out at the mosque built by the Turks in the 19th century for Bosnian refugees. Beyond that, the jetty, the Crusader Citadel, which is now a row of souvenir shops and an al fresco restaurant and cafe.

Another view of where Paul was tried (center of the pic, where the group is standing). Beyond the courts you can see the jetty and what was the Crusader Citadel. A visually stunning city.

I'm not sure what these are, but they look like they served as protection from the sea winds and the elements. They are just in front of the baths, the exercise area and the Roman home, so they might have been servants' quarters.
