The Last Supper could have been here, which sits atop what also is celebrated as David's tomb. It's almost certain David was not buried here, however, but don't tell anyone.
From the doorway above, looking down into the room of the Last Supper. Of course the architecture is more recent, evidence of the Crusaders.
This was the view from my hotel room. Jaffa in the distance. The beachfront that served as my running route each morning. And a park that served as home to quite a few nomads in tents.
In the Church of the Sepulchre, this is it, or is supposed to be it: Golgotha. The tourist reaching down into the hole is touching the rock of Skull Hill, which you can see under plexiglass to the left of the altar.
