| This armored bus took us into one of the Israeli settlements in the West Bank, where we heard the first-person account of a Palestinian assassination. An Israeli colonel recounted how gunmen shot and killed his son, his wife, and injured three other children. The bus is wearing a three-inch metal covering on top of its normal skin, and all of the windows are triple-layered. As a result, it can barely make it up hills and frequently has to pull off to the side of the road to cool down. |
