Research in Progress
- "A Survey of Function Specific Content in General Interest Library Publications"
- Investigates the amount and type of technical services oriented literature appearing in general library publications and the proportion of technical services literature to public services literature. The focus of the survey is that literature to which the "average" librarian is exposed. To that end publications were not chosen based on their scholasticism, prestige, or influence in the profession, but rather on their generality (in terms of functional specialities) and circulation (as a readily available measure of availability/accessibility to the majority of librarians).
