Your grade will be based on one-minute papers at the end of each class, two individual assignments, team-led discussions, a final project, and participation. There is no final exam in this course. More specific requirements and grading guidelines for each assignment will be released on this web page throughout the semester.

A P indicates that you have satisfactorily mastered the course material. You will receive a letter grade for each assignment, according to the following guidelines.

H A+ Exceptional and insightful work. Exceeded every assignment objective.
P+ A Highly accurate and clearly presented work. Met all assignment objectives.
P B Generally accurate and well-presented work with minor flaws. Met most assignment objectives.
P- C Shows effort but with problems in theory, understanding, or presentation. Met some assignment objectives.
L D Fundamental problems in theory, understanding, or presentation. Attempted some but not all objectives.
F F Failed to attempt or meet assignment objectives.
