I am a writer, communicator, and problem solver. I have reported for newspapers and magazines, worked in fundraising for higher education, planned events, and done any other number of tasks in my current job.

I live in Chapel Hill, NC and am a North Carolina native.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and Communications Studies in 2003. After that, I spent about a year free-lancing for a number of publications. In June 2004, I joined the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication as the Development and Alumni Affairs Coordinator. I currently serve as the Director of Alumni Affairs here at the school.
