Ah, the first day of school. I remember it like it was yesterday. That's me with the Bert and Ernie Sesame Street lunch box, waiting to embark on a 18-year love affair with learning.

If only I knew what I was getting into. At least I was right about one thing going in. Lunch is definitely the best part of the day.

Living on South Campus is kind of like going to war together. You complain about it while you're there, but the connections you make last a lifetime.

My dad is a pastor at a church back home. He also has a second job as a social worker. He also does a pretty good job of telling me what to do, although he doesn't get paid for that.
