i'm home! another night of 4 hours of sleep ;) - in atlanta hartsfield no less! - and a whirlwind trip to PTI and then HOME :). big hugs from mom and my sister wendy at PTI and my first meal out since july - insanely good brunch foods at midtown cafe & dessertery in winston-salem. yummmm :).

hmmmm. the yellow ribbons popped up like mushrooms while i was gone. and no more fitting a vehicle to show support for the oil war than on a nice gas-guzzling SUV!!!! (all i have to say is: support our troops - bring them home)

made my rock harbor pizza perfected through the summer (thanks to jim mcgill for his pizza dough from scratch expertise!). the crust turned out the best of any all summer - and everyone present was mighty pleased :)!

well, midnight struck and we headed out on the town - only nothing was open, it seemed. not henry's. not linda's. not skylight. nothing. except orange county social club. (thanks be to esther and her resourcefulness :)!). so esther became a member and brought us with, and 'twas a good place - walking in to the flaming lips followed by the magnetic fields :) and a hipster bartender named colin of all things. and wonderful times were had by all.
VANESSA CAME AND BROUGHT ASHLEY WITH! didn't get any pictures; but they're big fans of this site and deserve a mention ;). they came with to OCSC and that was much fun too! cheers to y'all. the camera didn't come with :( - but fun was had.
ended up crashing at mark woloszyn's and woke up at 9:52 for my 9:45 dr's appointment ;). but no bother - made it anyway and followed it up with a great lunch with esther, ryan and nikki at elmo's. mmmmm. salmon cakes; huevos rancheros; elmo's diner. mmmmmm.
and - goodbye to esther and nikki pictures; oh yeah, we picked up anna carson-dewitt along the way when we saw her at weaver street mkt with rajeev :). hooray!
