after jet lag induced odd sleeping habits, i managed to go to the city centre (sampokeskus) for the first time. and saw the pig in the city festival... and ran into my tutor kati at hemingway's!...

EXCURSION TO PYHÄTUNTURI NATIONAL PARK
12 September 2003.
so basically, you can see a few glimpses of the trip. from the pictures that survived uploading and did not get mangled. from entering the park, to going to the visitor center (notice how much nicer it is than isle royale's... hmmm! i wrote a whole paper for this excursion on the differences in our visitor centers... well, that and how similar the landscape and trails were). and then the lifts up to the top of the 1,500 meter fjell... the fog we went trhough coming down from the fjell. lunch by the campfire. and exploring the peat mires... with me and anton stepping on top of the bog. and finally a sidetrip to the gorge... before coming home. enjoy!
