Berserkir

by Flag

Berserkir is one of the best players still playing, on a par with Soup and Noriko. Like them, he's skilled in all phases of the game. Moreso than either of them, though, I feel that he can be taken out of his game. A less-skilled player can slow him down for quite a while, though when the end comes it can come brutally quickly. He is definitely very aggressive. Like Soup, he does not play particularly well with others. Although this is partially due to his being matched up with the weaker ally or allies, he does not always pay sufficient attention to his allies. If allied with him, stay out of his way.

Berserkir is a fairly good player who enjoys using an aggressive style. Currently, he likes to take a quick pill and then spike into your quadrant immediately. If you see him take a pill on the newswire, get ready to shoot up the nearby trees from where he might be trying to spike. His aggressive game works against him when you're ready for his across-the-line spike, and nail his builder.

Good player. Very good with the pill takes. Skilled at getting the rebuild of his pill. However, when frustrated, he will often mess up and becomes much more aggresive. Specifically, after the lost of a few pills r bases, he will go into a 'berserkir fury' and attack aggresively. Needs to keep his cool, imho.

Well--Bers is a piece of work. 1x1, he kills me. 2x2 , I can slow him down. He is so aggressive that if you are patient and time things right, you can sometimes beat him at his own game. I cant do it very well or consistently but you guys prolly can. I think if you can slow him down some, then he is more vulnerable. Seems to me that he doesnt defend behind much unless he has a lot of pills. Which may make the rear areas of the map vulnerable. He loves to pillwar and dogfight and is very competent. When I have allied with him, I just try to hold my end of the map, pick up the dead pills after his dogfights, and clean up the aftermath. He's fun to watch! Lately he been using the "hide in the trees and vulture" maneuver which is a little different from what I have been used to with him. I guess like most players, he tries to change what he does sometimes so you have to be prepared. Catch him using his powerbook and you might have a better chance with him but he been playin on it quite a bit so he will prolly figure that out too before long. And sometimes he plays as "Lucky" with an ISP address of lgm.com. (Ugh! They Got Me!) I luv it!!
