Stone and Water

Made with cold stones
Going down to the abyss
Washed by spashes of thunders
This stairway gazes at me

The water keep rinsing
The feet of this cold giant
I wonder
Who is cutting whom
Or is it that
They are eternal lovers
Kissing each other passionately
With smacks that splash
And create rainbows

Or may be
They were waiting for each other
For centuaries
Stone, after long wait
Almost dying, cold
And water rushes to it
Trying to give its warmth
They embrace each other
And burst into tears
Millions of them

But this moment of ephemeral love
Comes to an end
And water leaves the stone
Cold again
Water would keep crying
And keep trying
To come back to its lover again
Stone stands still, cold
Waiting for another splash of love
