nice, french riviera

we did not spend long in nice, however we sincerely enjoyed our time here. as one of the major shopping and wealthy hangouts in the french riviera, we constantly felt poor. nice is right next to monaco and monte carlo and there were plenty of yachts. we spent some time on the beach, checked out the view from high up on a hill and i visited the former home and museum dedicated to henry matisse, the artist.
