ah, rome. a capital of civilization for almost 3000 years. rome has everything you could ever wish to see; buildings, art and history. venice has romance, florence has the arts, but rome has more history and politics than anywhere in europe. we had only one day to do everything in the city, but we managed to see everything after trekking from nearly 830 in the morning until almost 730 at night. after learning so much about rome over the years, it did not disappoint
