FROM I-40:  Take exit 273A (towards Chapel Hill) and take a right at the top of the exit ramp (whichever direction you're coming from, you'll take a right at the top of the ramp).  Follow that road (NC 54) through several stoplights and under an overpass til you reach its intersection with Country Club Road.  Take a right onto Country Club.  The Center for Dramatic Arts, which houses the Kenan, is immediately on your left.  Parking is available on the street, on Gimghoul Road in the neighborhood across the street, or in the parking lot on 54 immediately before the turn onto Country Club.

 
FROM FRANKLIN ST:  Going Eastbound on Franklin (away from Carrboro), you'll pass the Morehead Planetarium on your right and then take a right onto Raleigh St.  Proceed down Raleigh until you reach a stoplight.  There are detour and construction signs all around, but you'll just take a left onto Country Club Road.  Go on up Country Club, past the Forest Theater on your left, until you reach the Center of Dramatic Arts on your right.  Parking is available on the street, on Gimghoul Road in the neighborhood across the street, or in the parking lot on 54 immediately before the turn onto Country Club.
