Atlanta, Georgia
July 10-12

From Montgomery we continued eastward through Tuskegee, where we toured Tuskegee Institute (alas, no pictures!).  We rolled into Atlanta late that evening and headed straight for Central Ministries United Methodist Church, where we spent the night.  The next morning, Sunday, we went to a rousing service at Central Ministries before touring the Martin Luther King National Historic Site, the Center for Non-Violent Social Change, and Sweet Auburn.
The next day, we planned to go to White Water Park, an amusement park outside of Atlanta.  But it was freezing cold!  Who has ever heard of it being 65 degrees and rainy in Atlanta in the middle of July?  So we spent the morning at the Coke Museum, hoping the clouds would go away.  Instead, it started raining harder!  We weren't going to let anything turn us around, though, so we went to the amusement park anyway.  And it was a blast!
