Who and What Counts in the Media's Coverage of Health Care

Many changes are occurring in health care and these changes have an impact on patient outcomes. What do journalists need to communicate to the public so that society can create a quality health care system? What do nurses and other health care professionals need to communicate to journalists if journalists are to cover who and what counts in health care? With my background as a freelance journalist, we will question and explore the role of journalism in the coverage of health care in modern society.
