Synopsis:

WENN's actors and Victor leave for a radio convention in Harrisburg, leaving the station in the hands of Betty, Mr. Foley, Mr. Eldridge, Gertie, and Eugenia.  All the shows have been recorded on disc to be played back at their regular times.  Disaster strikes and almost all the discs are shattered.  Mr. Medwick, of Cup O' Comfort, arrives to inspect the station and supervise the premiere of "Great Stories from the Good Book" - a bible dramatization show.  Unfortunatly, those discs have been lost.  Instead, Betty gives him eye drops that blur his vision, allowing the staff to pass themselves off as Jeff, Hilary, et. al.  They then pretend to broadcast live what is actually the only remaining record - an episode of "Lost is My Valley" that bears a striking resemblance to the Adam and Eve story.

Featured WENN Programmes:

"Great Stories from the Good Book"

Sponsored by Cup O' Comfort, this show is never actually aired.  Instead, we hear a pseudo-biblical episode of "Lost is my Valley".  At the end, the entire staff performs "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot".

"Lost is My Valley"

A western drama with Jeff and Hilary as the heroic couple and Mackie as the villain. Sponsored by Hampton's Vegetable Soup.

"Wee Mary McGregor, Veterinarian"

Wee Mary McGregor is the kindliest veterinarian in all the Highlands.  With her pet Geordie, the bonniest wee pig in all Scotland, she fights the evil Angus Burns.

"Amateurs On Parade"

A makeshift show created on the spot to appease Mr. Medwick, the amateur variety show features the following acts:
    - Mr. Foley playing the "William Tell Overture" on his cheeks
    - Betty and Eugenia singing
    - Mr. Foley singing 'Danny Boy' (not shown, of course)
    - Mr. Eldridge shattering a glass with his voice
    - Mr. Medwick performing magic tricks, making shadow puppets, telling stories.
    - Betty's chopped liver recipe, prepared by Mr. Medwick.
