Synopsis:
Wackiness! WENN presents a show called "Armchair
Detective", in which Sherlock Holmes (Jeff) and Watson (Mackie) solve a
mystery and then invite police to solve a modern crime. Larry Looper,
who was portrayed on an earlier installment as a murderer, has escaped
from prison and holds the cast hostage. He then forces them to re-enact
what really happened. In the process, the cast solves the crime and absolves
Larry of the murder.

Jeff and Mackie, performing as Holmes and Dr. Watson,
perform fictional murder mysteries and then invite real policemen on air
to solve real crimes. In this episode they are forced to recreate
the crime for which Larry has been convicted. Mackie plays Carleton
Killian, Celia plays his wife, Mr. Foley is his nephew Simon, Hilary is
the evil housekeeper Miss Craven, and Betty plays the French main (wahoo!)
Millie. Did I mention the wackiness that ensues?
