What is VidViewer?
VidViewer is a template designed to allow non-programmers to develop cross-platform interactive tutorials based on digitized sound or video. Designed especially for teachers and students of foreign languages, VidViewer provides
- a window to view the movie or play the sound, with a standard QuickTime controller
- a display of the script for the dialogue
- an on-screen glossary
- multiple choice questions with context-sensitive video/audio hints
- cloze (fill-in-the-blanks) exercises with context-sensitive video/audio hints
- vocabulary exercises
Since the content for all of these features is stored in external text files, you can use any word processor to create interactive exercises for QuickTime movies or sound files.
