In-class Draft Workshop of Final Project: Scientific Breakthrough of the Century

Open your revised PROPOSAL document on the software you use.
Go to FILE, SAVE AS, and call the new file: UnitProjectDraft1
Save this new file.

ABOVE your proposal, write these subheadings (You'll delete these in later drafts, but they'll  serve as guidelines as you write and re-write your early drafts):

• Zippy title (center this line)
• Introduction
• thesis
• background / other
• pre-breakthrough experiments/research
• the breakthrough experiment, results etc.
• opposition
• refute the opposition
• things to do in the future
• implications for mankind / final brilliant insight

Now, read through your revised proposal and CUT AND PASTE parts of it into the appropriate sections.
Spend the rest of class time writing.  Use your annotations and notes to fill in the gaps.
You do NOT necessarily have to start with the introduction since you have subheadings.
Get to work!  The more you do now, the less you have to do later.

At the end of class, print out 2 copies: give me one, you keep the second
