Draft Workshop 1: ABC TEXT
Evaluate the text:

- Do you consider the approach interesting? Why or why not?
- If the text appears "run of the mill," give the author a few ideas to make the text original
- Can the children understand the language and the concepts? (avoid too many complex, multi-syllabic words). How can the authors simplify the language, if necessary? List specific areas / pages that you consider problematic.
- On the other hand, do you consider the text to simplistic, uninspiring, of "been there & done that quality"? If so, give the author some creative ideas.
