RESEARCH WORKSHEET: ACADEMIC JOURNALS

Filling out this worksheet will help you organize the results of your research. When you're through, make a copy because you will be turning this sheet in as your project proposal.

1. As you search, build a short working bibliography of the journals in your field by listing the ones you looked at here. (I've given you a start, but look around.)

2. List the major concerns discussed in the journals and note the opposing sides for each. Which one have sparked heated debates?

3. Which of the above problems interests you the most? Why? (This will be your topic for the rest of the unit.)

4. Now, compile a working bibliography for the unit. You will need articles representing different solutions to one problem in your field. For now, list below (attaching print-outs is fine, too) all the articles you can find on the problem, and star the one you will analyze for Essay 3A. Research the rest at your leisure for background for Essay 3B and Project 3.
