02/04/15: The papers to read for tomorrow are Gilleskie (1998) and Cronin (2014), found here . Keane (2010) is also a good one for understanding the difference between atheoretical empirical work and structural empirical work.

01/27/15: Augh! Not only did I NOT get to finite mixture models, but I didn't hand back your Homework #1. Sorry! We will quickly go through FMM and then start on Grossman's model of the demand for health on Thursday.

01/09/15: I got a great update (2011 data) on some of the graphs we discussed in class yesterday. Check out: this .
Or take a look at the older version (2009 data) here , which I like a little better simply because the titles are more objective and allow the reader to draw relevant conclusions. In other words, I don't want the message in the titles to be all that you take away from the information.
