Well, here is my mom with all of her little kids at my sister, Emily's, graduation from Mary Baldwin College. The big, goofy looking guy is my little (younger) brother. Emily graduated with a degree in communications and is currently working for West-Wayne advertising in Atlanta. Will plays basketball more than he sleeps. He wears size 16 or 17 shoes and claims to be 6'8" (He's really 6'7"). He's also relatively smart for a jock and thinks he can play the cello.

This is where it all began -- mom and dad. My parent live in Hickory, NC where my mom is a school teacher at Hickory High School(my alma mater) and my dad is a minister at First Presbyterian Church. Dad's a native of good old Talledega, Ala. and mom was born in Korea and raised in Nashvegas and Charlotte.

This is my grandfather, Gene Daniel, with his tall grandsons (He's standing on an ottoman). My grandfather grew up in Atlanta and went on to lead one of the most remarkable lives that I've ever heard of. He served as a Chaplin in World War II in the African theater. He was taken prisoner by the Germans and spent over two years at Stalag Luft III. He received the Distinguished Service Cross and a Silver star for his acts in battle. After returning to the states, "Papa" went on to be a missionary in Korea, the Director of the Board of World Missions for the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and a minister at Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. Papa died in April 1995.

This guy (he was in the last picture too) is my cousin, John. John and I, as you can see, try to have as much fun as possible. Sometimes too much fun. This is Halloween 1995 in Chapel Hill. This trip is one of the reasons I transferred if that tells you anything. John's a native of Manhattan and will be going into the United States Marine Corps when he graduates.
