Personal
I am married to Joanna Lee Lauen.
We have a daughter named Tessa (b.
2003). We live in Carrboro, NC. I was an English major at Oberlin
College (class of 1989) and was raised in Denver, CO. (East High, class
of 1985).
I enjoy playing basketball and tennis, riding my motorcycle (1985 Honda
Nighthawk 700SC) on country roads, and mountain biking in the Bolin
Forest trails. I write songs, sing, and play guitar in a rock band, but
will not be quitting my day job any time soon.
