Blog Assignment Week 2
First your first entry this week use your newly-developed picture-posting abilities to post a picture of the album cover you plan to analyze for Feeder 2 (if you get stuck refer to this document. You shouldn't need a scanner to get a picture of your album; allmusic.com has scans of just about every album cover ever and Google can help you fill in gaps in allmusic's coverage. In the same entry that you post the picture, write a paragraph in which you speculate whether one of your parents might be moved to play the CD if they saw it lying around the house. Make sure to point out at least a few specific aspects of the album's artwork that might intrigue or disgust them.
For your second post (though you can write it first if you want to), write a paragraph detailing one major revision you made to either your Feeder 1 or Feeder 2 assignment based on feedback you received in the draft workshops.
In addition to your two posts, look around at the album covers that other people in your group and in the whole class chose to write about. Choose a blog written by someone whose Feeder 2 assignment you have read and write a comment to the post in which they posted the album cover assessing whether you thought the author painted an accurate picture of the album cover with his or her words. Did the cover look like what you expected it to? Did the author overlook anything you think should have been covered in the paper? 3 or 4 sentences should suffice for your comment.
You should have these posts finished by Tuesday, September 7 at the latest! Your comment may take a little longer if you have to wait for one of your group members to post the picture of their album.

IM Office Hours
As we discussed in class on Thursday, I'll be holding office hours on AOL Instant Messenger every Monday from 7-8PM from now on (I've also cancelled the 11-12PM office hour on Friday, so take note of that). My screen name is english1195, so log on and let me know if you have any problems with your blog or your writing assignments. Also, if you have technical issues with AIM and would like me to log in to another messenger service as well just email me.
