Constructing a Semi-aquatic Turtle Tank

On this page, I'm going to detail how I construct enclosures for semi-aquatic turtles. The following photos and text show how to add a suspended land area to a 30-gallon "breeder" aquarium, but are applicable to virtually any size tank. This tank, when done, will house a pair of African side-neck turtles (Pelusios species).
