These materials provide quick access to birth control and contraceptive definitions and explanations. They are both located in the Chapel Hill Public Library, and provided for each is a brief annotation.

  • This reference book provides a useful section on "Fertility and Family Planning," which includes definitions, drawings, diagrams of women's reproductive body parts, and advice on overcoming infertility. Includes advice on making contraceptive choices, and covers in detail how the following barrier contraceptives work, how to use them, their pros and cons, and their success rate: condoms, spermicides, diaphragms, cervical caps, vaginal sponges, and female condoms.

  • This book is designed to increase knowledge of sexuality, and to help men and women make informed decisions on their sexual health and contraception methods. Topics are listed alphabetically, and discuss a variety of subjects. This is a very good source for quick information.
