The Feynman Story

Feynman's Mailbag

I am so happy to see that, at long last, Americans have a positive choice for President! Feynman seems to be the most sensible candidate to come along in years.

Mary Ann Sloane
Oxford, IA

Thanks, Mary Ann! We think so, too.

Have you people completely lost your minds? Do you really think a dog can be President?

John R. Frost
Muncie, IN

Well, as Feynman likes to say: You've elected lying, cheating dogs before -- why not elect an honest one?

How can Feynman be President if she's only 5? The Constitution says you have to be 35 to be President.

Alice Gleick, Age 8
Hanover, NH

That is a good question, Alice. Since Feynman is a dog, her age will have to be measured in dog years. She will be well over 35 in dog years before January 20, 2001, when she would be inaugurated.

Has Feynman considered a running mate yet? I heard a rumor that Koko the Gorilla is being considered.

Emil Sanders
Columbia, SC

Neither Feynman nor the Slumber Party membership has begun formal consideration of a running mate at this time. The announcement will be made at the party's convention in July 2000.
