Ventura endorses Feynman for President

St. Paul, MN - Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura announced today that he would support Feynman in the 2000 Presidential Election.

After meeting with Feynman during a campaign stop in Rochester, Ventura told the press that he was "very impressed" with the candidate's credentials. "She's just a regular dog, like you and me," he said, "not some career politician who's going to go to Washington and forget where she came from."

Ventura is the first major national political leader to endorse Feynman.

"I've seen her wrestle," the governor added. "She can body slam a labrador retriever, no problem. This girl definitely has what it takes to lead this nation into the twenty-first century."

Feynman received the news at her home in Durham, N.C., while relaxing after a hard week of campaigning through the upper Midwest. "I'm delighted to have his endorsement," she said in a prepared statement. "I hope that this will encourage the support of other Americans who recognize that it's time for a change in the way this nation is governed."
